Alright, well, either nobody knew the answers, or nobody really cared (probably the latter). So, the 3 movies are Master and Commander, Dead Poets Society and The Truman Show. And the common element is that they were all directed by Peter Weir. He's not a very well known director, but he's had a critically acclaimed career. His films are very character-driven, and emotionally stirring. When I watch his films, I find myself very vested in his characters. And I feel like I'm right along side them, fighting for what they are pursuing. Lately he's not been as active; waiting 5-7 years in between projects. But I hope he continues to make movies. He also directed the films Witness, Fearless and Green Card. He's a four-time Academy Award nominee for Best Director, but has never won. The Truman Show and Dead Poets Society are two of my all-time favorite movies. And I have Peter Weir to thank. See you next time.

Yeah - I was so far off on this one - I kept asking myself, "What does Amistad, the Wicker Man and Contact have in common - Matthew McCoughanadouche wasn't in the Wicker Man"

I saw, but I didn't notice. It's funny though. I've just been too busy not giving a shit.

Yeh, that's great, I'm sure it's amazing & completely original. Jeez, get over yourself. Oh, did you notice that I didn't up the right pictures, so this "answers" post still had the invisible pictures. Good lord I'm a moron sometimes. It's fixed now.

I made a short movie that was a lot like The Truman Show. You should check it out, Jeff.
